A 20-minute drive (21 kilometres south-west) from Christchurch via the Southern Motorway, Te Whāriki’s main entrance is via Vernon Drive off Gerald Street. Vernon Drive is located between the New World supermarket and Challenge Service Station.
Situated within the township, Te Whāriki is within walking/cycling distance to Lincoln University, a short stroll to the New World supermarket, and a minute’s drive from the town centre, amenities and schools.
Lincoln has a public bus service between central Christchurch and the University, every half hour throughout the day.
A part of the Selwyn District, the area is well-served by taxi and a local shuttle service, and is 30 minutes drive from Christchurch airport.
